Sule Triumphs on 1,000KM Ride for Charity, raising Ksh 1m for the Centre!

Suleiman Kangangi - or Sule - successfully completed his 1000km ride for charity in December 2020, and raised an astonishing Ksh 2,190,147 in the process.

Sule, one of Kenya's most inspirational sporting heroes, completed a gruelling 1,000 km ride from Nairobi to Mombasa in December 2020, raising money for the children of Aswani Kizito's Project of Hope in Nairobi, and Happy Rock Centre in Eldoret. This feat, which has never been done before, took him 32 hours, and raised an extraordinary amount for two causes he feels very strongly about.

"This is what Christmas is all about: giving back to the needy and making sure we spread the love during this festive period. Before my Sule1000km charity ride, I promised kids at both Aswani Kizito's Project of Hope and Happy Rock Center in Eldoret that I will be back with Christmas foods, and they will enjoy like the rest of us. And that has happened due to help from God. Thanks to everyone who has made this possible."

Many thanks to Sule, Giant Kenya/TheBike Shop Kenya and the many other amazing people who supported this endeavour and made it such an incredible success.
